Let’s Make a Difference

Zuma Foundation Executive Director Michael Epstein created the first ever triathlon corporate challenge in Malibu with 3 main goals in mind:

  1. To build camaraderie among colleagues and co-workers, creating a more positive work environment
  2. To encourage corporate health, wellness and fitness initiatives, improving employees’ overall health and satisfaction
  3. To use the energy created in Malibu to raise money for great causes

Start a Team

We do all the work for you! We provide highly skilled triathlon coaches to come and speak to your organization, in person or via Zoom. They will explain the sport, the sense of satisfaction that comes from crossing the finish line in Malibu and provide training tips and plans. If you are interested in starting a team please contact us at zumachallenge@zumafoundation.org.

Rules / How it Works

There are just a few simple guidelines – we ask for teams to consist of a minimum of 20 employees. They can be individuals or 3 member teams (swimmer, biker and runner). We will place your team together in the transition area as long as everyone meets the fundraising minimum.

EMPOWERING LIVES THROUGH SPORT

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) believes that sports and physical activity creates purpose and fuels dreams. That is why we are committed to providing athletes with physical disabilities life-changing access to sport, eliminating barriers to participation through the gift of adaptive sports equipment, athletic prosthetics, and the resources needed for coaching, training, and competition travel. CAF is focused on empowering lives through sport, shining a bright light on the achievements of our athletes and the adaptive sports movement. In the years ahead, we plan to offer even more opportunities for athletes to participate in events and adaptive sports clinics, experience invaluable mentorship and social engagement, and feel empowered to chase their goals and dreams.
